Fairly mature nose, cassis, sautéed bell peppers, herbs and spicy old oak. Fairly cool on the palate, some more bell peppers, preserved red currants, some blueberries and cassis, chocolate, light herbaceous and mineral notes, fine-grained, slightly astringent tannins, shows its origin, varietal character, full-bodied, but appears lighter than it is, very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2013+. What our ratings mean
