Partly dried and partly preserved black berries on the nose, light herbaceous notes and just a hint of bacon, roasted and smoky notes. Spicy oak on the palate, ripe dark fruit, light herbaceous notes and again a hint of bacon, smoky notes, fairly prominent slightly sandy and quite astringent tannins, full-bodied and quite creamy, peppery traces, good finish.
