2002 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Gewürztraminer Nussbaumer, Alto Adige, Italy

Nutty oak on the nose, light burnt notes, some yellow fruit, floral notes as well as some lychee develop with aeration. Still dominated by oak on the palate, behind this quite substantial fruit, clean and delicately juicy, polished ripe acidity, light mineral touch, shows rosewood and floral aromas only with aeration, fairly elegant style, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.
