Tart, somewhat smoky and tobacco nose of ripe, predominantly black berries with hints of juniper. Tight, tart dark fruit with herbaceous and slightly tobacco notes, juniper and pepper, crisp acidity, present, fine sandy tannin, persistent on the palate, has power but also cooling elements, citrus nuances in the background, good to very good, quite tight finish, again with black fruit, juniper ethereal notes and plenty of acid bite.

Best to drink: Mitte 2023 bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
