2013 Ghemme DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Clear, quite polished, a little dried-vegetable to tobacco nose of red and a little black berries with floral nuances and a hint of laurel and juniper. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit, smoky and nutty aromas, tobacco notes and juniper-ethereal spice, persistent, salty in the background, present, fine tannin, a little mushroom, very slightly sweet melting, very good, juicy, smoky and again ethereal-spicy finish.
