2006 Ghemme DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Quite a tart nose, small red berries and some black berries, dried flowers, light spicy notes and some old oak. Clear, fairly cool and fairly tart fruit on the palate, light spice, some more light notes of old oak, fine dusty tannins, earthy and mineral traces, good persistence, good finish.
