The winery is located in the municipality of Sizzano (province of Novara) in the Italian region of Piedmont. It was founded at the end of the 18th century with two hectares of vineyards at that time and has been continuously expanded. Today, the estate is run by Eva and Paolo Tealdi Bianchi, the sixth generation of the family, with Paolo Cominoli as cellar master. The vineyards cover 15 hectares. They are planted with the red wine varieties Nebbiolo, Barbera, Vespolina and Uva Rara, and with the white wine varieties Erbaluce and Chardonnay. The vineyard is cultivated according to the principles of organic viticulture. The product range includes the DOC/DOCG wines Gattinara, Ghemme, Colline Novaresi and Sizzano. Around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Of these, 80% are exported to Germany, Japan and the USA. Various "Grappa Mono Vitigno" (grape marc brandies) are also produced, some of which mature in barrique.
