"Sansussì", Piedmont, Italy

Somewhat animalistic, reminiscent of meat, with aromas of more black than red berries as well as a little cherry, pepper and planty to herbal notes. Ripe, quite juicy fruit, present, youthful, fine tannin, herbal-herbal flavours, a trace of stem wood, pepper and hints of juniper in the background, good persistence, noticeable acidity, good to very good, taut and tangy finish.
