2016 Würzburg Stein Riesling trocken VDP.Erste Lage, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly cool nose, still slightly yeasty, citrus and stone fruit, delicate floral traces, hint of red berries, prominent mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, partly preserved fruit on the palate, yeasty as well as light vegetal and herbaceous aromas, persistent, lively, elegant acidity, slightly sweetish and creamy, tart earthy and mineral notes in the background, hint of tobacco, firm grip, still undeveloped, hint of bacon on a very good finish. Needs time to mature.
