Editor note: Somewhat developed, slightly covered, sweetish nose of partly candied yellow fruits with floral and herbal nuances as well as earthy to mineral notes. Again a slightly subdued, slightly sweetish fruit, warm to the alcohol and a little waxy, bacony, planty and earthy notes, somewhat coarsely knit, certain persistence, noticeable alcohol, tones reminiscent of ginger and kimchi, gains juice and bite with air, a hint of bacon, good to very good, sweetish, aftertaste that becomes tighter and juicier again on the breath

The growing region is located in the state of Hesse in Germany. The vineyards cover 3,211 hectares of vineyards starting at the Untermain east of Wiesbaden and extending about 50 kilometers along the right bank of the Rhine to Lorch north of Rüdesheim. The wine route "Rheingauer Riesling-Route" runs along the right bank from Lorch to Hochheim.
