2013 Taurasi DOCG Riserva, Campania, Italy

Firm, clear aroma of ripe, partly preserved, predominantly dark berries with nutty-woody aromas and a hint of dried herbs. Tart, juicy, again firm fruit, nutty and slightly chocolaty wood aromas, a trace of smoke, very fine, present, youthful, ripe tannin, persistent and dense on the palate, a lot of power but also polish, delicate ethereal-herbal and spicy notes, high but very well integrated alcohol, very good, firm finish
