Somewhat developed, rather warm, tobacco and peanut-woody aroma of ripe black and also a little red berries with leathery tones and a hint of root vegetables. Ripe, tart, juicy, quite firm fruit, smoky and peanutty tones, quite present, yet crumbly tannin, persistent and powerful on the palate, a little dark chocolate and coffee, some depth, salt in the background, roasted notes, a little dark ethereal spice, very good finish with dark juice, roasted flavours, grip and warmth. Once again a whole lot better than the first tasting around nine years ago.
