Bodegas Marqués de Cáceres
Winery Wines Files 15

2009 D.O.Ca Rioja MC, La Rioja, Spain

Somewhat developed aroma of more black than red berries with cigar tobacco, dried plums, smoke, peanuts and cedary tones. Ripe dark fruit with lots of bitter wood, roasted, smoky, bitter chocolate and coffee-spicy notes, powerful and persistent on the palate, present, crumbly tannin, persistent on the palate, quite compact structure, has power and substance, dried meaty notes, in the very good finish again warm black fruit and a lot of bitter wood. Will be able to develop much longer than expected, but remains dominated by wood.
