2001 D.O.Ca Rioja Antea, La Rioja, Spain

Mature nose with partly dried apples and dried citrus fruit, with quite noticeably spicy oak. Elegantly juicy in the mouth, rounded and creamy, very little oak, a hint of minerals, some tannins, good balance, long finish.

Editor note: Brilliant yellow with strong green tinges. Clear apple and citrus aromas with a delicate mineral note. Elegantly juicy in the mouth, quite full-bodied, with elegant acidity, a hint of herbs, more mineral notes on the palate, rounded, very subdued oak aromas, very harmonious, good length.
