2022 Rüdesheim Berg Rottland Riesling trocken "1960", Rheingau, Germany

Lightly developed, delicately smoky stone fruit nose with core and citrus aromas, herbs, tobacco, hinted dark berries, suggested yellow spice, and mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, not quite dry fruit, a bit of yellow spice, nutty tones, a touch of tobacco, and again herbs, persistent on the palate, delicately blackberry, fennel and anise notes, grip of ripe tannin, good sustainability, pronounced minerality, very good, firm finish with apple notes.
