Tart, slightly tobacco, undergrowth and mushroomy aroma of black and a little red berries with cherry nuances, a touch of leather, hints of root vegetables, herbs and pepper. Predominantly dark fruit with smoky, toasty aromas, dried herbs, coffee grounds and hints of tar, present, slightly drying tannins and some acidity, quite powerful, lasting, hints of malty tones, cocoa in the background, warming alcohol, slightly open style, very good, only also noticeably drying finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2023 bis 2026+. What our ratings mean
