2019 Blaufränkisch trocken "NIX", Burgenland, Austria

Firm aroma of black berries with smoky, bacony, nutty and dried herbal aromas, juniper, some pepper, mushrooms and undergrowth. Tart, dark, again rather tightly knit fruit with smoky toasty and bacony aromas, dried-vegetable to herbal aromas and juniper-ethereal spice, persistent on the palate, fine sandy, youthful tannins, noticeable acid bite, earthy notes, mushrooms and chalky-salty minerality, some depth, very good, tight, again a little ethereal finish.
