2019 Mittelburgenland DAC Ried Hochäcker Blaufränkisch trocken "Handmade", Burgenland, Austria

Somewhat earthy and a touch dried-floral scent of black berries and cherries with tobacco nuances. Tight, juicy and fresh, cool fruit, fine herbal and somewhat peppery spice, polished tannin and animating bite, good persistence, herbal aromas in the background, a trace of juniper, also some minerality, a hint of citrus zest, still young, very good, tight, quite juicy finish, again with fine herbal and peppery spice and train
