2017 Mittelburgenland DAC Ried Hochäcker Reserve trocken "Urknall²", Burgenland, Austria

Fairly firm nose, light vegetal and herbaceous notes, predominantly black berries, floral and earthy traces, touch of preservedcherries and some dark chocolate. Firm, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, vegetal, light peppery, earthy and mineral notes, very light nutty notes and a hint of undergrowth, hint of bacon, touch of dark chocolate, good substance and persistence, light salty notes, still undeveloped,, spicy oak and a touch of astringent tannins on a very good, tart finish. Still needssome time to mature.
