2015 Mittelburgenland DAC Ried Hochäcker trocken Urknall, Burgenland, Austria

Light nutty and dried vegetal notes on the nose, black berries and a few sour cherries, floral traces, licorice in the background. Ripe dark fruit on the palate, fairly prominent tannins, light earthy notes, hint of tobacco, light acid bite, tannins still slightly astringent, floral traces, some cocoa and licorice, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, not particularly deep, hint of bell peppers on a good to very good finish.
