2007 Mittelburgenland Blaufränkisch trocken Holzcuvée Perpedes, Burgenland, Austria

Cherries and red berries on the nose, vegetal notes, delicate herbs and spices. Cool and fairly light-bodied on the palate, polished red currant fruit, hint of cherries, more herbaceous notes, moderate acid bite, moderate tannins, has varietal character and shows its origin, attractive finish.
