2018 Ahrweiler Spätburgunder, Ahr, Germany

Astringent, quite firm, smoky, slightly dried vegetable scent of red and black berries with slightly earthy and very delicate vegetable aromas reminiscent of aubergine. Clear, quite juicy, ripe fruit, crumbly-sandy tannin and some bite, dried vegetable to herbal nuances, a touch of blood orange, salty mineral notes, very good, quite firm, juicy finish with bite
