2006 Marche IGT Ser Balduzio, Marches, Italy

Mature nose with animal notes and old oak, dried and preserved berries and plums. Initially slightly bitter, one-dimensional preserved fruit on the palate, slightly astringent and furry tannins, gains in substance and becomes more full-bodied with aeration, tart herbaceous notes, fairly persistent, partly dried red berry fruit, touch of dark coffee beans and bitter cucumbers, mineral traces, integrated tannins, quite full-bodied, good finish.
