Light vegetal and earthy notes on the nose, black berries and cherries, hint of cocoa and licorice. Fairly lively, juicy, dark fruit on the palate, nutty notes and cocoa, moderate mousse, fine tannins, good persistence, spicy notes, hint of pepper and bacon in the background, very good, juicy, elegant, spicy finish. Much better than the first sample tasted a year agoo.

Editor note: Translate to English Süßlich-säuerliche Nase nach Brombeeren, Heidelbeeren, Cassis und Sauerkirschen mit ein wenig getrockneten Kräutern und Roter Bete sowie apfeligen Noten. Recht saftige, nicht ganz trockene, lebendige Frucht mit präsenten Tanninen, frischer Säure und moderater Perlage, mürber Apfel am Gaumen, kräuterige und leicht teerige Noten, etwas nussig, gewisse Nachhaltigkeit, ein Hauch Leder, recht guter Abgang.
