2013 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "GIOBI", Tuscany, Italy

Tart nose, light nutty anddried vegetal notes, predominantly dark berries, light leathery notes, hint of tobacco, earthy notes, some oak. Ripe, partly preserved, juicy red as well as some black gruit on the palate, some bite, firm, ripe, fine tannins, good substance and persistence, fresh style, hint of citrus zests in the background, light herbaceous and floral traces, some depth, fairly firm structure, full-bodied, but also has cool elements, touch of almond liqueur, mineral traces on a very good, firm, juicy finish.
