About Az. Agr. La Fortuna

One of the best producers of the country Producer of premium wines, which regularly include even in international comparison among the best of its kind.

The winery is located in the municipality of Montalcino (province of Siena) in the Italian region of Tuscany. It began in 1907, when Angiolino Zannoni leased the property. In 1965, it was acquired by Gioberto Zannoni, who restored the old farmhouse and promoted the Brunello variety in the vineyards. Today, Angelo and Romina Zannoni are the fifth generation to run the business. The vineyards cover 34 hectares of vines in the municipalities of Montalcino and Castelnuovo dell'Abate. Depending on the type of wine, the wines are matured in stainless steel tanks, large wooden barrels (27 to 30 hl) or barrique barrels. The product range includes the DOC/DOGC wines Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino and Sant'Antimo Rosso, as well as the IGT wine Fortunello.
