Firm and quite deep, somewhat leathery, dried-herbal and hinted at iodine fragrance of more black than red berries with a hint of mushrooms and slightly tobacco barrel notes. Ripe, firm, warm fruit, nutty wood tones, dried herbal nuances and dried mushrooms, a hint of cocoa on the palate, persistent, powerful and quite dense, fine, crumbly tannin, salt in the background, juniper-ethereal spice, good depth, relatively restrained power, very good, ripe-juicy and spicy, warm finish.
