2013 Valtellina Superiore DOCG Riserva Inferno "Sesto Canto", Lombardy, Italy

Nutty, slightly dried floral and slightly tobacco scent of partly dried red berries that become fresher in the air and a little black berries with mineral nuances. Astringent, finely juicy, rather reserved light fruit, fine acid bite and quite crumbly tannin, delicate woody notes, somewhat earthy to mineral and dried vegetable, good persistence, chalk and salt in the background, also hinted at dark spice, almost a little reminiscent of caraway, ethereal notes, relatively complex, very good finish with a hint of draught, cocoa and again in the air increasing freshness
