Translate to English Zart rauchige und an getrocknetes Laub erinnernde Nase nach roten und ein wenig schwarzen Beeren mit tabakigen, leicht kräuterigen und mineralischen Tönen sowie einer Spur Wacholder und Zeder. Klare, feinsaftige, eher kühle Frucht, etwas Kandis, dann altes Holz und würziger Tabak, sehr feines Tannin und zarter Säurebiss, nachhaltig am Gaumen, gewisse Tiefe, feiner Griff, gereift, aber nicht zu alt, gute Tiefe, recht komplex, ein Hauch Suppenfond, sehr guter Abgang. Noch immer ein Vergnügen, wenn man diesen wunderbar altmodischen Stil schätzt; jetzt aber langsam auszutrinken. Nicht dekantieren!

Editor note: Mature, developed nose, mineral notes and some petrol, lovage and leather, dried berries and dried medicinal herbs. Mature again on the palate, slightly sweetish, delicate, developed fruit, dried and preserved small berries, some nougat, dried red fruit and dried herbs, fairly creamy, mineral notes, persistent, mature tannins, slightly overripe with some old oak on a very good finish.
