2020 trocken "Comondor", Burgenland, Austria

Firmer and deeper, even more compact, slightly fattier, herbaceous and smoky scent of black currants, red beets, pepper, and a hint of cherries with aromas reminiscent of tomato paste and olive tapenade, leather, tobacco, earthy notes, and dried mushrooms. Strong, dense, and juicy in the mouth, ripe, clear dark fruit with smoky, nutty, and roasted wood aromas, tobacco, a bit of tar, and again olive tapenade, Mediterranean herbs, and a little pepper in the background, then also paprika and black pepper, smoky nuances, compact structure, despite all the power also with cool elements, deep and complex, still undeveloped, very good to long finish with ripe dark juice, wood spice, ethereal quality, and pressure.
