2019 Blaufränkisch trocken "Kalk und Schiefer", Burgenland, Austria

Tart, somewhat coffee-spicy, slightly animal and tobacco nose of ripe black berries and some cherries with a hint of juniper, herbs and pepper. Clear, polished, tangy dark fruit, some coffee and dark chocolate, lively acidity, has grip, slightly ethereal hints, persistent on the palate, still undeveloped, clearly salt, a hint of roast, firm construction, very good, tart, again juicy and peppery-spicy finish. Very skilful
