2023 Riesling feinherb Alte Reben, AAA Nr. 19 Steillage, Mosel, Germany

Lightly vegetable, somewhat mushroomy and herbal to dried-herb scent with a hint of forest floor, melted butter, and suggested dark berries. Ripe, sweet fruit with slight red berry notes, some bitter plant aromas, again butter and a touch of sour cream, bright, slightly smoky barrel tones, lively acidity, delicate grip, some sustainability, in the background delicate fermentation notes, chalky minerality, very good, somewhat bitter and sweet finish at the same time.
