2022 Frühburgunder Reserve trocken AAA Nr. 64, Mosel, Germany

A somewhat nutty, peppery, and tobacco-like nose with hints of preserved dark berries and a touch of cherries, accompanied by a trace of root vegetables, plum notes, and nuances reminiscent of rosehip. Slim, rather warm fruit with chocolatey and slightly sooty wood aromas, a hint of wax, and subtle malt, sandy tannins, a certain sustainability, with grilled pepper in the background, good, albeit somewhat muted, soft, and simultaneously drying finish.
