2016 Spätburgunder trocken AA Nr. 31, Mosel, Germany

Partly preserved red and some black berries on the nose, earthy notes and some undergrowth, some dried herbs, hint of mushrooms. Ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, light nutty oak, peppery spice, fine tannins, good persistence, hint of tobacco in the background, some salty traces, has some grip, good to very good juicy, spicy finish.
