2016 Landwein AAA Nr. 10 "Orange", Mosel, Germany

Onion-skin pink to amber colour. Fairly firm, fairly restrained nose, light earthy and nutty notes, delicate floral and vegetal traces, light mineral notes. Firm,.concentrated, dry fruit on the palate, nutty and light spicy notes, very elegant, lively acidity, hint of chocolate and tobacco, fairly prominent, integrated, still slightly astringent tannins, good persistence and some depth, appears fairly full-bodied in spite of the low alcohol level, slightly warm, salty and earthy notes on a very good and fairly complex finish.
